This hooded mask and horns are constructed from tough, but flexible foam, ideal for safe active use in performance, dance, and combat.

The hood is made with individual, faux leather scales for a dramatic, tactile effect. This particular mask-hood was a prototype for testing this effect for future projects. whilst it still looks good on the outside and is built with durability in mind, as a prototype, it doesn't have quite as much of the finishing quality of my other LARP masks, such as the seams are a bit more rough looking on the inside. This is why I am selling at a discounted rate from my other masks, despite the extra detailed work.

- Each mask is hand airbrushed, then coated with flexipaint for a durable latex-free finish.
- The inside of the mask is lined with lycra to protect the foam.
- Features a wide, adjustable, elasticated velcro strap, under the hood, to secure the mask in place, suitable for a range of head sizes.
- Button fastening around the neck to close the hood.

As someone who loves to perform in costume, I create each one of these masks with great care and love as if I would be wearing them myself.

How to build a fursuit head with a pre-made base (Getting ready to fur)

In this Video I will be demonstrating how I build my heads using the parts available in my store.

This version is more how I would build suits I intend to wear for myself as the head in the video is for a cosplay. For professional suits, I have a different process that requires more duct taping and copydex adhesive... however I didn't have any copydex left during the making of this video. Anyway, hopefully this will answer some questions:

- How do I line the base?

- How do I attach it to a balaclava? (Sort of answers it, but that's the footage I lost) 6:52 (Can also be seen in "how to make a moving jaw" tutorial)

- What do I do if I don't want a moving jaw? 7:21

- How do I fit eyes to the base? 8:33

- How do I build the back of the head? 9:57

- How do I attach ears? 14:22

- How easy is it to modify? 23:49
